| 9th February 2012 PRESS RELEASE The Broadbeach Bulls are pleased to announce that they have signed on a new marquee bowler and Bowls Co-ordinator. Ryan Bester will join the Broadbeach lineup over the next 10 days. Canadian Commonwealth Games Representative who played in the 2002, 2006 and 2010 will strengthen the already strong Division One players. Chairman Barry Gilbert made the announcement this morning following final talks with Bester yesterday. Bester will co-ordinate the Australian Sides Championships in April as well as develop new strategies for Junior Development within the Club. The Club believes Bester will work well with their youth line up such as Sean Ingham, Paul Petersen, Scott De Jongh, Chris Lanham and Ryan Khan with the consistency of McKibben, Bailey, Gardiner, Clifford and Allan. Bester won 2004 World Pairs, 2005 Asia Pacific Singles Championship, Overall 2005 Asia Pacific Team Champion, 2007 Asia Pacific Silver Pairs, 2008 World Bowls Singles Bronze.
